The school to Career Office is currently tentatively planning two careers days.
October 30- NEIT automotive day. Like UTI in the past we will visit the school. There program included collision the only one in the area to do so.
November 20- NEIT Building Tech day. This day will include all aspects of building technology form HVAC to Welding.

Welcome Back
Welcome back everyone. I never left. I spent an exciting summer here in Norton supervising our first work and learning program. The program employed 30 student and provided them with Tutoring. They worked 40 hours a week. I had an incredible time getting to know many students that I had not previously met and student i already knew. Please check back with the blog frequently to see what programs and activities are coming from the school to career office. hope you had a good summer too.

Summer Work and Learning
If you have a student who is struggling with MCAS or has not passed They may be eligible for the"Work in Summer Program".The WIA program runs in the summer for 6 weeks. Student receive a job with a nonprofit, get paid and receive MCAS tutoring. IF you are interested in have your child in our program Barbara Ellis @ 508-285-0257 on Mondays or Email any day @ BarbaraEllis@norton.k12.ma.us.

* a Bus will be provided from NHS to AHS - Sign up with Mrs.. Ellis
Overview:
Graduating seniors from 5 surrounding high schools with explore various opportunities that local trade, technical schools, and two year colleges have for student to further their education and gain training necessary to compete in today's job market. Trade unions and local businesses will be on hand to provide students with information about apprenticeship opportunities.
This event is for seniors at the Partnership's high school. Participants are primarily seniors who have not made plans beyond graduation or have applied and / or plan to attend a post secondary education institution. This event provides students with the various opportunities that they may take advantage of, including a wide range of education and training opportunities.
Please send student to sign up with Mrs. Ellis - Space on the bus is limited. The bus will leave at 12 and return around 1:45. Student and families are welcome to attend on their own.
